The Role of the Board of Directors

Share the Bounty Inc.’s Board of Directors is made up of community leaders who offer expertise, experience and unique skill sets from a wide variety of fields which lend credibility to Share the Bounty and the work that it does in the community.

Our Board of Directors represent a cross-section of our community and has a passion for our organization and those we serve. The members work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization and oversee that the funds raised directly affect those in need. They are eager and always willing to make a difference.

Board meetings are typically held in-person quarterly and communicate electronically on an on-going basis as required.

Past Board of Directors

Steve Ramganesh

Steve Ramganesh lives in Mississauga with his family. He is currently a Nurse Practitioner that specializes in wound management. He is affiliated with the William Osler Health Centre and has been a nurse for over 20 years. He has worked in the areas of General Medicine, the Intensive Care Unit and in Long-Term Care.

Steve believes it is very important to find a way to give back to his local communities in order to demonstrate the gratitude he feels for all the opportunities that were given to him.  He is a firm believer that everyone needs and deserves respect, compassion and empathy.  Being an integral part and active member of Share the Bounty gives him the ability to further support those that are in need. He is grateful to serve on the Board of Directors of Share the Bounty. 

Helen Clubine

Helen moved to the Town of Mono in 2006 with her husband Brent and their 5 children.    
 
Helen has extensive experience in the automotive industry and after 35 years of working in the private sector, she now works for herself as a private consultant in the field of Mergers & Acquisitions and consults for a Marketing company.  Having assisted in fundraising events for many years, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for Sick Kids, her skill sets and abilities make her an asset for Share the Bounty.  She has always felt a calling to volunteer and is grateful to help those in need. 
 
Helen’s tireless contributions in her community and her never-ending passion to serve, fuel her everyday.  Her personal mission is to ensure no one ever goes hungry, by providing healthy meals to all.

Charles Desgrosseilliers

Charlie and his wife, Judy, reside in Brampton Ontario. They have five children and eight grandchildren. He is a career real estate professional and currently operates his own commercial property management company in Toronto.

His non-profit experience reaches back more than forty years with building schools and educating youth in South Asia and other regions of the world. He is grateful for the opportunity for further service with Share the Bounty in South-Central Ontario.

Pamela Kelly

Pamela Kelly leads Share The Bounty with dedication and heart, ensuring fresh, nourishing food reaches those who need it most.

Stepping into the role after the passing of the charity’s founder and her mentor, she works tirelessly to honor Dr Benny’s legacy . Her leadership inspires volunteers, builds community partnerships, and keeps Share The Bounty thriving—proving that giving is not just an act, but a way of life.

Dr. Benny Thannikkotu

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved president of Share the Bounty, Dr. Benny Thannikkotu. A distinguished heart surgeon, he was a man with a heart for humanity, tirelessly dedicated to feeding and comforting those in need. His unwavering compassion and leadership inspired all of us, leaving a lasting impression on our mission and our hearts. While we mourn his loss, we celebrate a life filled with purpose and generosity, and we remain committed to continuing his legacy of service.

Shirley Evans

Shirley Evans is currently retired and living in Brampton, Ontario. Previously employed at The Salvation Army Family Life Resource Centre in Brampton (FLRC) for a tenure of 17 years, her position was a Legal Support Worker. FLRC is an Emergency shelter for abused women and children and is an organization that Share the Bounty heavily supports. 

Shirley has many years of volunteering experience. She began as a teenager working with 7 year old boys in a group called Cubs as well as working at the school her children attended. Shirley volunteered at Vanier and started a phone service called Parents Anonymous which lasted for 10 years. She then joined another volunteer group that prepared and provided Parenting Courses for the Region of Peel which were later included and incorporated in the Board of Education curriculum.

Shirley’s last volunteering position was at the William Osler Hospital in the Dialysis and Emergency Departments. She is a firm believer that community will always prevail by uniting to help those in need. She has always lent a helping hand and is honoured to be a board member for Share the Bounty

Jason Richardson

Jason is currently living in Brampton with his wife and kids.  He is the store manager of a FreshCo grocery store in Brampton. In 2001, Jason was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and began his volunteering journey with the Mississauga chapter in 2002. 

Jason has always had a calling to volunteer and began the ‘donate a food bag’ program at his local grocery store to donate non-perishable food items, toiletries, etc. to the local food banks, women’s shelters, animal shelters, local churches and schools. His program has directly benefited many charitable organizations throughout the years and his generosity and entrepreneurial spirit has immensely helped those in need. 

In his spare time, aside from his tireless hours to volunteering at Share the Bounty, Jason loves going to concerts and meeting celebrities. He is grateful to be on the board of Share the Bounty.
